Dr. Sharon Jones, Clinical Audiologist at The Cleveland Clinic, spoke to the participants of the Urban Youth Empowerment Program. She talked about setting goals and not needing to have instant gradification, instilling the the belief that if God closes one door he opens another. She also expressed to the students how important it was to be professional at all times because you are not sure who may be watching you.
Ms. Jones graduated from Admiral King High School and completed her master’s degree at the University of Akron. She has been an audiologist at the Cleveland Clinic since 2002. Her clinical interests include comprehensive hearing testing for adults and children over the age of 6 months, hearing aid evaluations and fitting of adults. Ms. Jones also provides Coffee Talk, a free and informal group session discussing hearing related topics.
